How is it free?

Great question!

We live in a world where a lot of things are free, but there's always a catch somewhere, right!

That's why we are very transparent, so you understand what is, and what is not free!

Here is how we are able to offer this for free:

We generate revenue by charging insurance companies for access to our technology platform and we charge other lawyers referral fees.

Insurance companies want to have "first access" to you when you're injured party and before you contact a personal injury lawyer who is going to drive up the expenses, charge you 30-40% and take forever to settle your claim.

You might ask, if we're getting paid by the insurance company, how are you going to represent me? The answer is simple: we ONLY represent you and your interests. The insurance company is represented by their own attorneys.

The insurance company is not paying us to represent you, they are paying for access to you and your claim. This fee is a flat fee. It is not contingent on anything and there are no "success" fees, bonuses or other incentives.

Referral fees:

If you submit a case that requires litigation or doesn't settle, we will refer the matter to another lawyer who pays us a referral fee if they recover any money for you. Some cases simply need to be litigated ie: a lawsuit needs to be filed.

Referral fees are very standard amongst lawyers and there are rules that regulate this. However, your claim will no longer settle "for free" if your claim needs to be litigated, you will sign a retainer agreement with the new lawyer which will include their standard contingency fee.

We hope this helps explain how we generate revenue, To learn more, please read our FAQs here https://settleforfree.com/faqs or email us at support@settleforfree.com
